Restless is a multimedia digital publication produced by the New York University Prison Education Program (PEP), featuring the works of current and former students. Students are welcome to submit prose, poetry and visual art pieces. The journal will publish new works annually with various overarching themes, and calls for submissions will be circulated amongst the PEP community.

Our journal title, Restless, emerges from the tireless movement of our contributors: traversing towards clarity, freedom, and a deeper sense of self. While the themes within Restless might invoke an initial feeling of unease, we hope that each edition pushes readers to introspect on their own intimate journeys.
